The North Carolina Psychoanalytic Society provides a variety of professional, educational and social opportunities for both members and non members. They often collaborate with other local and national groups in this field. The Society also provides outreach consultation to the community about psychoanalytic concepts and local resources.

The David Raft Fellowship
The David Raft Fellowship for Psychoanlytic Education has beed created by the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Foundation through a generous gift from Elizabeth Raft, MD. The first David Raft Fellowship will be awarded in fall 2007 to one student or trainee enrolled in or planning to enroll in one of the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Society's training divisions.
