New Collaboration Announced
The Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Study Center of North Carolina (PPSC) has announced their collaboration with the Psychoanalytic Institute of the Carolinas (PIC) to form the Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas (PECC). This new division of the NC Psychoanalytic Society will continue the traditions established by both the PIC and the PPSC while filling the training needs of today.
 
The Psychoanalytic Education Center of the Carolinas announces their 2008-2009 classes.
The PECC is please to offer:

  • Certificate programs in psychoanalytic psychotherapy & psychoanalysis.
  • Courses for mental health professionals, academics & graduate students.

About the PPSC
Established in 1993 as a Division of the North Carolina Psychoanalytic Society, the PPSC offers courses that are open to many disciplines. Its purpose is to enhance the quality of psychotherapy available to the public by offering a series of educational programs on the theory and practice of psychoanalytically-oriented psychotherapy. Courses are open to psychotherapists of the various clinical disciplines. The introductory level courses also accepts selected non-clinical applicants who are interested in learning more about psychoanalytic concepts and ideas.

PPSC classes offer CME Category I credits for physicians and CE Category A credits for psychologists. Letters of attendance are available for all other disciplines.
